Standing up for Ireland

Tom Barry
Kerry County Council
Listowel
Living in Listowel with my wife, Trevanne, and our three children, I work at the Kerry Group plant. First elected to Listowel Town Council in 2009, I am a former Mayor of the town. I was co-opted to Kerry County Council in 2017 and was elected in 2019. I am a hands-on Councillor and work tirelessly for the people and our communities. I sit on the Joint Policing Committee (JPC) in Kerry and Chair the JPC Crime Prevention sub committee. I also sit on the Council’s Roads committee. I am involved in a number of local community groups, including the Listowel Mens Shed, which I helped establish. I also campaigned vigorously to ensure that the “See something, Say something” text alert system was rolled out in the area.
