A lifelong small farmer an avid historian from Clashmealcon, Causeway, I have witnessed changes in the rural community where I was born and raised. I am eager to bring my experience and love of North Kerry to Kerry County Council where I can represent the constituents in this area. As a father to four adult children, I am acutely aware of the challenges facing our younger generation. Many are forced to emigrate and find it difficult to return home due to the lack of housing and the high cost of living. This is decimating our rural population therefore making it hard for local businesses to survive and thrive. I will fight for services and funding required to rectify the issues facing communities in North Kerry to ensure that future generations can build a good life for their families, as we have done before.
