Standing up for Ireland

Tamara Kearns

I am a mother of three and Project Coordinator for a local community organisation. My passion for my locality led to my decision to study for a BA Degree in Leadership and Community Development. I have lived experience of the impact of homelessness and the struggle of renting and long waiting lists. I am a strong advocate for people effected by the housing crisis and I’m committed to pursuing real solutions including building more social and affordable housing, cutting rents and ending homelessness. As a mother I understand the problems associated with a lack of youth facilities. I will work with communities to develop projects suitable for children of all ages and interests. I am also passionate about promoting a greener local environment that everyone can benefit from.
