I come from Callan where I live with my fiancé, Seamie, and our four-year-old son. After a decade working in the hairdressing industry, and a masters degree, I wanted a change for myself and my family so pursued a qualification in Law. This ignited a passion for community development. I currently work in Sinn Féin TD Kathleen Funchion’s office so I have a good understanding of the issues facing people in our community. This has strengthened my commitment to try and make a positive impact in my community. Many properties lie vacant throughout our villages of Kells, Stoneyford, and Callan town. This needs to change. I believe that Ireland needs positive change. That starts at the local elections next June.
