My name is Sheila Busher and I’m your Sinn Féin candidate for the upcoming local elections. As a native of South Wicklow, I am married and live locally with my four children. My own community and academic background are what have driven me to stand for election. I have seen first-hand the struggles affecting not only the marginalised but also workers and families who are under enormous financial pressure. I know from my involvement in various groups such as the Drugs Task Force and Arklow Positive Ageing Committee that our area needs a strong voice on Wicklow County Council. Arklow needs strong representation to address the level of issues our community faces. I strongly believe I can be the person to stand up for the people of South Wicklow.
