Married to Ciara with a young family, Shaun has lived his whole life in Ballyogan and the surrounding areas. Shaun has worked full time for Sinn Féin since 2004, spending sixteen years working in the Sinn Féin Press Office in the Dáil. Since 2020 he has been working as a National Administrator in Sinn Féin Ard Oifig. He is strongly committed to his local community and was a founding member of Ballyogan Celtic Football Club and served as Chair of the Club as well as Player/Manager in 2011/2012. He has been involved in many local issues including local housing campaigns, the campaign to stop the closure of Stepaside Garda Station and the Right2Water Campaign.
