I have been a passionate advocate for fairness, equality and justice all my life. I fought for free education as Student Union President in Waterford in 1994 and in 1998 and 2017, I stood with crane drivers for better workers conditions. I believe that access to education, health and welfare services, mental health supports, an affordable home, good job opportunities, food on the table, community safety and effective, but fair environmentalism should be core principles for any government. Now, we see crises in housing, the cost of living, in mental health services, farmers protesting and a looming elderly care crisis because our government continues to fail its people.
