Standing up for Ireland

Ardee
A native of Kilsaran I am a life-long Republican, first elected to Louth County Council in 2004 and I’ve represented the people of Mid-Louth since. I’m an enthusiastic GAA supporter and committee member of O’Connell’s GFC. I believe that sports clubs have an important role in people’s physical and mental health and that empowering communities to work together can help effect positive change locally. I have worked on many issues over the years; road safety/improvements, water services, housing adaptation grants, disabled person’s grants, housing and bus shelters. Among the bigger issues I am working on currently is the regeneration of the Castlebellingham/Kilsaran area. Having worked tirelessly since 2004, I am determined to make Mid-Louth an even better place to call home.
