Reared in Emmet Place in Sligo Town, I’m now married to Chris, and have lived in Woodtown Lodge for 27 years, where I am chair of our residents’ association. A civil servant for 40 years, I have worked in several departments, including 20 years in the pensions’ office. I am looking forward to the campaign ahead as a candidate for Sinn Féin. I will campaign for affordable housing for young working adults, as well as fighting for peoples’ right to social housing. Crime prevention must be a priority, including tackling antisocial behaviour. I will campaign to improve facilities in Sligo University Hospital, and in particular A&E waiting times.
