Waterford City East

I live about three kilometres outside of Dunmore East with my wife, Bernadette. We have three grown-up children, two of them are now living abroad, with my youngest daughter, partner and family living close by. I was first elected to Waterford Council in 2009 and I’m both grateful and honoured to have represented the people of the City East LEA since. This area includes a third of the city, a large agricultural area, approximately twenty kilometres of coastline and three villages with fisheries harbours. As you can imagine, there is a diverse range of issues that cross my desk daily. I have enjoyed working on behalf of the people and I’m now looking forward to running again as a candidate in the 2024 Local Elections next June.
