I am married to Brenda and have two children and six grandchildren. For over 40 years I have been heavily involved in community & voluntary organisations in the Bailieboro area. I’ve been an active member of the Bailieboro Shamrocks GAA (former chairperson & treasurer for many years), St Patricks Day Committee & Tidy Towns for many years. I am the current chairperson of the Cavan Sinn Féin and have also served as the chairperson of the local CE scheme for the past 10 years. I was first elected to Cavan Co. Council back in 2004 and had the honour of serving as its Chairperson in 2017. My goal as a councillor has always been to work hard for the people of this area and to help improve living standards & facilities for all the community.
