Olive is from Coolock and lives in the area with her husband John, her children and grandchildren. Olive comes into this election with vast political experience at Local and National level. Having been a Sinn Féin activist from her teens, she went on to work as a constituency officer in Dublin’s North Inner City and then worked in Sinn Féin Head Office. In 2009, she began working with Mary Lou McDonald, going on to become her political programme manager in the Dáil when Mary Lou became a TD and worked alongside her until late 2019. Olive is proud to be a part of a Sinn Féin team that will stand up for ordinary people, and work to give families the break they need.
