A new candidate in the County Council elections in June is Niamh McCooey of Annacramph, Castleshane. Married to Eamonn, they have two young daughters. An Accounts Manager, Niamh is the daughter of the now deceased former Sinn Féin Assembly Member at Stormont, Patricia ‘Pat’ O’Rawe and Danny O’Rawe. A member of Tyholland GFC, Niamh is an active member of the Tyholland Community over the past fourteen years. Member of the Parent’s Association Committee of Garron National School, Niamh enjoys reading and a number of sports. Niamh is a new member of the Co. Monaghan Women’s Assembly. Eager to better serve the needs of those she hopes to represent, Niamh is looking forward to meeting the electorate in advance of June 7th.
