A mother of three teenagers, I am a dedicated community and political activist currently employed by Sinn Féin. A former apprentice hairdresser, I then owned a thriving takeaway business for many years, the success of which was based on resourcefulness and hard work. A committee member of my Camogie club, I am a passionate advocate for community empowerment. I play an active role in my local community association and have participated in a number of grassroots political campaigns and regularly volunteer with homeless charities. I have witnessed the challenges people face with the cost of living and owning a home becomes evermore out-of-reach for low and middle-income earners. If elected, I will be strong voice for workers and families on Cork City Council.
