I live in Bundoran with my wife Mary and we have 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Passionate about the area, I have been involved in numerous initiatives as a county councillor and a former town councillor. I am seeking re-election to continue this work in representing the interests of the people of south Donegal. I have been a strong campaigner on the issues of housing, health, infrastructure and tourism. I am heavily involved with the local GAA, Tidy Towns, local development and represent the community on local and national committees. I have worked tirelessly for social justice all my life and seeking to address the cost of living crisis will be integral to my upcoming campaign.
