Mallow town native Melissa O’Brien is a former Sinn Féin councillor and has served on both the County and Town Council.
She has over 20 years of experience in politics and is well-versed in public policy and spearheading both local and national campaigns. Melissa is a long-term employee of a large dairy Co-Operative and a former part-time tutor on payroll and taxation.
She has vast experience in the creation and application of policies, having served on the Cork County Council’s Corporate Policy Group and Housing and Environment Policy Groups in the past.
