I am running in the 2024 local election for Sinn Féin because I want to be a voice for a generation who have been forced to struggle through a housing crisis we didn’t create. As someone who has experienced first-hand the difficulties faced by so many of us struggling to get a home, I have decided to get active in politics. I have qualifications in Mental Health and Psychology and as many of you know I am a big activist in the local charity scene. As someone with a neuromuscular disability from birth, I have learned to fight for everything I have. I now focus on fighting for the rights and interests of the people of Westmeath. This country needs change and that starts locally.
