Born and raised in Kingscourt, I received part of my education in Kingscourt’s local primary school before attending St. Louis Secondary School in Carrickmacross. I also spent 6 years working in Shercock for Manor Farm. These experiences give drive to my commitment to its residents in resolving the issues they face. As a former union representative, I believe have the experience to be strong voice for our community. After a trip to Haiti in 2019 my eyes were opened to the plight of those most vulnerable in the world and for people, despite working hard for their families, still struggle to make ends meet. My interest lies in developing our amenities and addressing the housing needs of our communities.
