I was born and raised in Carrigart, Co Donegal. I have a higher certificate in Business Studies from Southeast Technological University and an honours degree in Economics, Politics and Law from Dublin City University. I have worked for over 30 years in NGO’s in the Community and Voluntary Sector and Public Sector, with extensive experience both in programmes design and policy issues as they relate to education and training.
