Standing up for Ireland

Máire Devine
Dublin City Council
Inner City South West
A proud Liberties girl living in Kilmainham, a senior psychiatric nurse, I’ve been a Councillor or Senator since 2011. An advocate for the vulnerable, I’m campaigning for a Well-being Quarter for Dublin 8. I’m a member of two local Drug & Alcohol Taskforces, St James’ Hospital Board and the Children’s Hospital Residents Forum. An active member of four regeneration boards (Emmet Road, Oliver Bond, Donore Ave, and Dolphin House), I’m also on DCC’s Housing Committee where I champion cost-rental, social and affordable housing. With history so central locally, I’m on the Board of Kilmainham Gaol, and a campaigner for restoration of the Iveagh Market, Kilmainham Mill, and Inchicore Library. With your support I will continue to serve my community and add to the sum of human happiness that we all so richly deserve.
