Living in Gort over twenty years and initially educated in Accountancy, I am cur-rently working as a Business Development Coordinator in the Construction Sector. I have been active locally on a variety of projects, including attempts to establish a public creche and more recently as a board member of the Yeats Thoor Ballylee Society. A mother to two grown up children, I have experienced first hand the struggles of high living costs and, as my children attempt to forge independent lives, they are met with unsustainable rental costs with no sight of ever owning a place of their own. I am standing for Sinn Féin in this election as I believe that they are the only party with the determination and solutions to tackle these issues.
