Lorraine Smyth lives in Barntown and is a Digital Solutions Manager with the HSE.
A public servant for the last 22 years, Lorraine has worked with many patients locally with complex healthcare needs. She holds an MSc of Science from UL and a Professional Diploma in Human rights and equality.
She currently holds the title of Network Wexford Business Woman of the Year in STEM.
Lorraine is passionate about equality and has a long history as a human rights defender as a member of both the Wexford branch and national board of Amnesty Ireland.
A trade-unionist, Lorraine was previously Vice Chair of the Wexford branch of FORSA. She also worked as HSE National Covid Laboratories Logistic Lead facilitating testing and laboratory capacity nationally during COVID.
