A native of Mountmellick and living in Clonaslee for the past 9yrs, I have 3 grown up children and I’m married to Keith. I currently working in retail, having previously worked in social care for many years. I am passionate about advocating for communities and groups that work to improve our quality of life. I am fully aware of the daily struggles facing workers and families, particularly the difficulties for parents in getting decent services for children with additional needs. I campaigned tirelessly to galvanise support for an ASD unit in St. Patrick’s NS Mountmellick, with success. I am also very much involved with the ongoing flood relief campaign for Mountmellick. “Helping people and getting things done” is my motto!
