I live in Ardee with my husband and young daughter. A former youth worker, I am now training to be a Psychotherapist. As a disabled person I know the challenges faced by adults and children trying to access basic services. I believe in the power of community and I’m member of groups that advocate for housing, including CATU Louth who fight for tenants’ rights. I have been a volunteer with SOSAD for 13 years and recently, having been appalled by the genocide in Palestine, have been organising solidarity vigils. Ardee is growing and progressing and I believe that my life experiences, fighting spirit and passion for the town, I will bring an energy to the role of councillor to ensure that Ardee and its people are not overlooked.
