I grew up in Muirhevnamór and my partner, Paula, and I have an adult daughter Caithlain, who works locally. I was first elected in 1999 and currently serve on several council committees and local voluntary boards. Over the years I have worked on many issues including road safety/maintenance, estate management, addiction issues, anti-social behaviour, housing maintenance, transfers, vacant properties etc. Housing and homelessness are major issues in this area. A community is always strongest when it pulls together and I always encourage and support community led initiatives. Change is coming and we can effect that change here at local level. A lot has been achieved but there is more to be done and I am asking you to put your trust in me once again.
