Standing up for Ireland
Kayley Goodison
Wexford County Council
New Ross
I am a graduate of the University of Limerick and University of Rotterdam where I obtained qualifications in History, Politics and Social Studies. This is where my passion for helping people in my community grew. I have lived and worked in New Ross ever since graduating. Volunteering for Oxfam and Novas Housing, I have had the privilege of assisting people on a range of matters. I have experienced firsthand the cost-of-living crisis and have seen the toll of the government’s failed policies, particularly with the lack of investment in mental health services.
As a former SNA and having a brother who has Down Syndrome, I am passionate about securing enhanced investment in disability services and Autistic units in schools.
I will bring a strong and empathic voice to the council for workers, families and the most vulnerable in our community.
