Originally from Glanworth, I have spent most of my life living and working in Mitchelstown. I am very familiar with the issues people in Mitchelstown and surrounding areas have to deal with on a daily basis. Married to Rita, we have two grown up daughters, Aoife and Sorcha. I have a keen interest in all sports, particularly the GAA having been involved in many local teams over the years. I believe in the benefits of sport on both mental and physical health. It is vital that our sporting organisations are well resourced. I believe in investment in our communities, providing sustainable employment opportunities. The provision of a proper public transport network is vital to allow our people to live locally, and to help our local economy.
