From Corraleehan in Ballinamore, I work in retail in Carrick-On-Shannon. My son Conor is a teacher in Dublin, while my daughter Erin is a student in Maynooth. I worked in Dublin for 20 years before returning to the community that I love. A lifelong political activist, I am committed to making our community and country better for all our people. As a parent and worker I understand the challenges faced by local people and have the real-life experience and passion needed to work for positive change. My interest lies in addressing the housing, health and public service needs of our community, particularly mental health services.
