Standing up for Ireland
Jim Myers
Louth County Council
Dundalk South
I was born in Faughart parish and have been living in Shortstone, Hackballscross for the past 23 years. Married with two adult children, I work as a potato merchant.
Through my job delivering around the county I see the challenges that face workers and families, especially in rural areas, where infrastructure and connectivity is lacking. As Chair of the Louth Supporters Club for 7 years I’m aware of the lack of facilities for young people and appreciate how important sport and youth clubs are.
I am putting myself forward as a Sinn Féin candidate to be a voice for you and to get things done.
I am determined to improve facilities in this area, to be a voice for those who feel forgotten and to help bring about the change we need.
