A qualified Carpenter/Joiner, I live in Rathmoyle, Abbeyleix with our sons Cathal (13) and Setanta (8). A widower of 2 years, I try to maintain a balance between parenting and work life. In 2022 I sadly lost my wife Roxy to cervical cancer, having cared for her full-time. When Abbeyleix Hospital was at risk of closure, I supported the campaign to retain it. Over the past 2 years I have been active in providing support to those people affected by bereavement. I am also a member of Rathmoyle Residents Association. I an running in this election because I believe we need change, so that people no longer have to struggle to find a home they can afford and or receive proper healthcare when they need it.
