Originally from Shannonbanks and now living in Westbury, I have lived in east Clare most of my life. I am married with two children. I’m passionate about getting the best for east Clare, an area often ignored. With the right ideas and imagination, we can make it an even better place to live and work for everyone. I am an artist and teacher and work mostly with children in the DEIS primary school system in Limerick and Clare and on youth diversion programmes across the region. I also work with young people and adults with intellectual disabilities in a number of different venues, teaching ceramics and painting. I volunteer with a number of community groups teaching art and woodwork in men’s and women’s sheds.
