Living in Omeath over 10 years, I am married with a 17 year old daughter. I am a National School Secretary in Scoil Naomh Lorcan and appreciate the challenges faced by workers and families. An active member of Glenmore AC, I currently hold the position of secretary/event co-ordinator. Having organised the annual Omeath fundraising 5K for my school and completed several marathons, I believe that sporting facilities are essential for peoples’ physical and mental health and would like to see an improvement in those facilities. As a volunteer in Omeath Tidy Towns, Dundalk Dog Rescue and secretary of my local Residents Association, I believe that when communities pull together, we can effect positive change. I am committed and determined to tackle issues and see them through to the end.
