Standing up for Ireland
Fiona Kerins
Cork City Council
Cork City South Central
Born and raised in Ballyphehane, I was educated at Presentation Secondary School. I am married to Damien and we have two children, Caragh and Fionn. I have worked in cancer services at Cork University Hospital for nearly twenty years.
I am extremely passionate about community. I have campaigned for a major ramping-up in the delivery of social and affordable housing, and for better conditions for council tenants. I have been to the fore in improving traffic calming measures, upgrading playground and parks, and increasing the number of school wardens.
Since I was first elected to Cork City Council in 2007, I have worked tirelessly for political change. With your support, I will continue to be a voice that puts workers, families and communities first.
