Edel Moran, a former Dublin City Councillor, lives in Woodlawn, on the Oscar Traynor Road with her husband and three adult children. A hairdresser by trade, Edel worked in Peter Marks in the Ilac centre for over twenty years and was the hairstylist for many of Moore street`s traders. Edel sits on many local committees including her local Resident`s Association, Gaelscoil, GAA and soccer clubs. She is also on the board of the Kilmore Youth Recreation Centre. As a former Councillor, Edel enjoyed helping people, young and old and from all backgrounds in any way she possibly could in her locality. She now wants to continue that work along with pushing for change in the areas of housing, health and the growing cost of living crisis.
