Eamon Phelan, born and raised in Glenamaddy, Co. Galway, has been deeply involved in the local community from a young age through his family’s business—a central hub consisting of a pub, shop, and undertakers. As the son of Eamon Snr and Josephine, and with strong family roots in Ballyhaunis, Eamon is dedicated to the prosperity of the Claremorris electoral area. Eamon has actively contributed to the community as a former coach for underage GAA and soccer teams. His passion for nurturing the youth extends to his broader vision for community development and engagement. Eamon is passionate about making a positive impact and is eager to bring your voice to the council. He believes in a community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
