Formerly Deirdre Walshe from Knocknagoshel Village, I am a direct descendant of Dan Murphy, The Blacksmith Volunteer. With a passion for preserving rural life, I want to work with our local communities to make them a better place to live and work and, in particular, to keep our youth at home. Having witnessed the toll emigration takes on rural areas, I am driven to create vibrant communities. My experience spans across ommunity Development as a Supervisor on the Sliabh Luachra Rural Development Scheme and as an entrepreneur who founded Kidee Bells in Castleisland Town. I am dedicated to my community, serving as Parish Secretary in our Church, Chairperson of Knocknagoshel National School Board of Management and an engaged member of the local Tidy Towns Association.
