I was born in Clonmel and grew up in the nearby Village of Ardfinnan. In 2018 I graduated from University College Cork with a Masters in Social Work Degree and have worked in the Health and Social Care service for half a decade. I am a proud Trade Unionist and serve as a Work Place Representative for FORSA in the Health Division of the Trade Union. I have been involved in grassroots community organising for years in Clonmel and surrounding areas. As a party activist, I’ve worked within the community and its surrounding villages. I’ve seen the many struggles and pressures that so many workers and families are under, but their resilience and resolve never ceases to amaze me.
