Born and raised in Clondalkin I attended St. Peter the Apostle school before moving to Collinstown Park Community College. I studied History, Politics and International Development in Maynooth University for three years. During my time in college, I worked in a number of retail jobs including Vue and B&Q. Seeing how people in my family and community were affected by the financial crisis and the austerity measures that followed has instilled a belief in me that the current government cares little for the struggles of workers and families. I am a board member of two local community centres and have been working in Mark Ward TD’s office for the past year. Working for Mark has given me great experience in campaigning for people in this area and ensuring their voice is heard by officials in South Dublin County Council.
