Standing up for Ireland
Damien O’Donoghue
Tipperary County Council
Nenagh
I live in Nenagh town and work as a tutor and a musician. I also have a Masters degree from Limerick University in Irish history. I
I am a committed community activist and volunteer, and I am involved with many local groups, working to improve the lives of people living in our community. These groups include the Mid-Western Hospital Campaign, the Nenagh Foodbank, the Cost-of-Living coalition and Darkness into Light - Nenagh. I also founded and ran the North Tipperary Covid Response Group which delivered essentials to people during the pandemic lockdowns.
My work with people has given me a very clear understanding of the challenges facing workers and families on a daily basis. I want to be their voice and a voice for change.
