Standing up for Ireland

I am a committed community and disability activist living in Corofin with my wife.
At the age of 21, I became disabled due to an illness and went on to work as an advocate for people with disabilities both in a voluntary and work capacity.
Professionally, I worked with the Central Remedial Clinic in Dublin and Limerick. My work involved developing software in schools for children with additional needs as well as acting as a Technology Liaison Officer.
Born in England to Irish parents, I understand the reality facing many young people in our community who are choosing to emigrate for a better life. I will work for better housing and job opportunities for North Clare workers and families making it a sustainable place to live, work and grow old.
I believe strongly that with the right support and investment our community has the potential to thrive.
