I live in Cork City South East with my wife Angela. We have three daughters. I’m a graduate of UCC, working in the Community Development and Voluntary sector for over 30 years. As an activist, I work and support many communities across Cork. A Councillor from 2010 to 2019, in 2015/16 I became the first Sinn Féin Ard Mhéara Chorcaí since the early 1920s. Campaigning against waste of public monies on vanity projects, I want to make sure that spending is directed into vital services, such as affordable and social housing and better delivery of community services. Working to make Cork a thriving city for families, communities and businesses, if elected, I will continue to work for a better quality of life for all.
