I’m a native of Mahanagh, Drumshanbo and married to Nicola (Kelly) from Kilclare, we have two children, Shauna and Michael and I work on the family farm alongside my mother Anne in Drumshanbo and Ballinamore. I’m honoured to have represented the people of this area as a sitting councillor since 2014. I sit on a number of committees on Planning, Policing, Infrastructure, Parent representative on Leitrim West Cavan Children’s Disability Network Forum, Drumshanbo Community Text Alert, Leitrim chair of Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association, Mayflower Community Centre Company and Kiltubrid Defibrillator Group. I hope that with your support I can build on the work I’ve done over the last ten years and continue to work for the benefit of people in this area.
