I am part of the Ryan Shiner family from Soloheadbeg and live near Tipperary Town with my husband and our two children. I hold a BA in Humanities and Post-Graduate Diploma in Adult and Further Education. Having a place to call home is a key to social cohesion and happiness and I’m working closely with people struggling to find a secure home, offering advice, support and advocacy. My passion is town/village regeneration, so I’m working hard to improve social and economic wellbeing through sustainable regeneration projects. These include exploring best practice in repurposing derelict/vacant properties, for residential and commercial/cultural uses. I work with many community groups and businesses in West Tipperary, and I hope to continue to support the valuable work they do.
