Standing up for Ireland

I am from South East Galway originally. After fourteen years in a senior management role in the medical device manufacturing industry, I returned to education. In 2012 I completed a Masters in Development and took up a role in the charity sector.
I lived and worked for six years in a rural community in Southern Haiti. On my return home to Woodford, Co. Galway in 2018 I set up my own small management business.
While volunteer chairperson of my local community group we won Galway Pride of Place 2022, created 3kms of accessible woodland loop and have created a recognisable environmentally conscious image for Woodford.
As a parent, a small farmer and self-employed I understand the challenges of trying to survive in rural Ireland
