From the Quay area, I am a lone parent to my 10 year old son, Mason. I recently returned to playing GAA and appreciate the role sports can play in physical and mental health and would like to see more facilities for young people. The idea of home ownership is now beyond the means of an entire generation. That is not a future I want for my son. I want to see his generation having options and opportunities here. I work in a supermarket and know the challenges faced by workers and families with the cost of living. I want to make a difference. I would be a valuable member of a team of Sinn Féin councillors to effect positive change. I am determined to make Dundalk a better place to call home.
