McGuigan condemns ‘barbaric’ Bushmills attack

Sinn Féin MLA Phillip McGuigan has branded an attack on a man in Bushmills in the early hours of Sunday morning ‘barbaric and shocking’.

The North Antrim MLA said:

“I unreservedly condemn the barbaric attack on a man in Bushmills in the early hours of Sunday morning.

“There is absolutely no place in our communities for armed gangs, and those involved should get off the backs of the community and leave the scene.

“I would urge anyone with information on this shocking and disgraceful attack to bring it forward to the police.”
