Working together key to tackling homelessness – Ferguson

Sinn Féin MLA Ciara Ferguson has said an Assembly is needed now to drive a plan to build social and affordable homes and ensure everyone has a secure place to live.

Speaking at event marking the foundation of Homeless Connect, the party’s housing spokesperson said:

“More must be done to tackle homelessness across our society.

“We need a new Assembly that is focused on fixing housing and working to ensure that everyone has a secure roof over their head.

“And an Executive that delivers over 100,000 social and affordable homes in every community over the next 15 years.

“Working together with organisations like Homeless Connect and other housing groups is key to shaping legislation and tackling homelessness.”
