Sinn Féin MLA Danny Baker has said urgent action is needed to ensure children can access speech and language therapy.
Reacting to a new report from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the party’s children and young people spokesperson said:
“It is very concerning that children here are waiting longer than anywhere on these islands to access speech and language therapy. Urgent action is needed to resolve this.
“I am committed to working with parties and executive ministers to tackle this issue, ensuring we focus on early intervention and that our children and young people can access first-class services.”
