Sheehan condemns threats against school principal

Sinn Féin MLA Pat Sheehan has condemned threats against Lisneal College’s principal, Michael Allen.

It follows news that a 62 year-old man has been charged with harassment, following emails sent to the school.

The party’s education spokesperson said:

“It is disgraceful and entirely wrong that ‘malicious emails’ were sent to Linseal College, including threats directed towards its principal.

“I welcome the response by police to this issue who have now charged an individual with harassment.

“Everyone must be able to carry out their work free from threats, fear or intimidation.”
