Patients and families of deceased patients of Michael Watt deserve answers – Ní Chuilín

Sinn Féin MLA Carál Ní Chuilín has said that patients, and the families of deceased patients, of Michael Watt deserve answers about their treatment and the full truth.

The North Belfast MLA said:

“Thousands of patients and families were subjected to years of distress due to misdiagnosis and mistreatments and still feel the impact today.

“They deserve answers about what happened and the full truth to make sure it can never happen again.

“Families of deceased patients of Michael Watt who may have an interest in having their relatives’ clinical records reviewed can contact RQIA to explore this.

“They can get further information on how to do this by phoning 0800 052 0012 or emailing [email protected] or on the website http://rqia.org.uk.

“Sinn Féin will continue to work with and support the families to get full disclosure, truth and justice.”
